Buying the best equipment is not going to make you a better player. Practising does!
Anyone can be famous…if they want to be! Think I might employ this tactic in selling my books. Strap a few books on and go for a naked jog down the street? Maybe there’s other ways!
There are several motivators to learning an instrument, such as becoming a star, earning a living, increased sex or whatever. You have to do more to achieve these things, as otherwise, they can seem pretty unrelated! Besides, the best thing about learning an instrument is that you have a tool to make music.

This is just fantastic songwriting advice, and it was the advice given to George Harrison that allowed him to finally crack the art of songwriting (I’m very glad he did, as he wrote some bangers) Have you ever tried writing something only to give up halfway through and then attempt to pick up where you left off?
